Conference / Event Coordinator, International Events (Federal Contract)

Yeap Inc. is building its team for a U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) contract to plan and run reverse trade missions, conferences, forums, trainings and other events in the United States and overseas. This role is contingent on contract award. Work is assigned event by event, through task orders. Selected candidates will be named in our proposal with a résumé of up to three pages. As Conference / Event Coordinator, you plan and run the event itself, from the first planning meeting to on-site delivery and closeout.

• Plan, coordinate and implement conferences, forums, trade missions, trainings and workshops. • Coordinate venues, registration, vendors, catering, room layouts, signage, participant communications, meeting schedules, transportation and materials. • Keep detailed schedules and task trackers across several event workstreams. • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and respond quickly to changing requirements. • Support on-site execution and closeout.

• At least 5 years of experience planning, coordinating and implementing conferences, forums, trade missions, trainings, workshops or similar domestic or international events. • Proven experience supporting events from initial planning through on-site execution and closeout. • Experience coordinating venues, registration, vendors, catering, transportation and participant communications. • Strong organization, customer service, communication and problem-solving skills. • Authorized to work in the United States (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or lawfully admitted to work in the U.S.), as the contract requires. • A current résumé of no more than three pages that shows the relevant events and projects, with dates, locations and your role. Preferred: Experience with international or government-sponsored events.

Competitive rate. A role on a multi-year federal contract (one base year plus four option years, if awarded), working with Yeap's own event technology for registration, hybrid streaming and live interpretation.
