Job Description ● Configure, monitor, and maintain TAOps site network infrastructure ● Troubleshoot and resolve network issues ● Respond to outages and ensure rapid restoration of service ● Work with a geographically distributed cross-functional team to design, implement, and support TA network operations ● Stay up-to-date on the latest networking technologies ● Document all network changes and procedures Qualifications: ● 5+ years of experience in network engineering ● Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, BGP, routing, switching, and DNS ● Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools ● Excellent communication and teamwork skills ● Ability to work independently and as part of a team ● Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment ● Exposure to network design, network infrastructure installations/upgrades and fault finding. ● Experience configuring and troubleshooting BGP routing protocols. ● Experience with BGP Traffic Engineering. ● Exposure to Carrier/NSP grade routers - Juniper MX, Cisco CSR, NCS, Arista and SDN. ● Extensive knowledge and understanding of IPv4 and IPv6 Networks. ● Understanding of Data Security and encryption solutions - PKI/IPSec is desirable. ● Experience managing Access Control Lists. ● Experience configuring equipment including switches and This includes 802.1q VLANS. ● Troubleshooting skills across Layers 1 - 7 ● Familiarity with Cloud Network Architecture, deployment and Operations. ● Understanding of virtualisation products and Network automation ● Excellent understanding of switched network implementation and best practices. ● Good understanding of Unix/Linux command line ● Effective Communication and Influencing ● Experience with changing and Improving network designs ● Problem-solving skills and can-do thinking ● Managing a Quality Service with little or no supervision
