Senior Specialist - Data Engineering

We are looking for a Data Reporting Engineer with 25 years of experience to support the Reporting Services process The role involves extracting data from multiple platforms PowerBI Databricks performing structured updates in Excel running macros and publishing business reports The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and operations teams to ensure accurate timely and highquality report delivery Key Responsibilities Extract data from PowerBI and Databricks Update and manage data in Excel reportstemplates Run and maintain Excel macros for report generation Prepare and publish BRS reports on a dailyweeklymonthly basis Perform basic data validation to ensure report accuracy Coordinate with stakeholders for report reviews and queries Communicate report status and ensure timely delivery Good to have Support minor tasks related to SSIS Knime legacy tools Required Skills Technical Skills Strong proficiency in o PowerBI data extraction dataset handling o Azure Databricks basic querying data retrieval o Advanced Excel formulas pivot tables data handling o Excel Macros VBA execution and basic troubleshooting o SQL SQL knowledge for data extraction and validation Good to Have Experience with o SSIS legacy ETL tools Knime o Data pipelines or batch processing environments Exposure to reporting platforms and enterprise data ecosystems Soft Skills Strong communication skills critical for report publishing stakeholder interaction Attention to detail and data accuracy Ability to work in a processdriven SLAbased environment Proactive issue identification and resolution mindset Advanced Excel formulas pivot tables data handling Excel Macros VBA execution and basic troubleshooting SQL knowledge for data extraction and validation PowerBI data extraction dataset handling Azure Databricks basic querying data retrieval
