Job Description Symantec Net Backup Administration. Raleigh, NC We are looking for a resource with 10+ years of experience in Symantec Net Backup Administration. Required Skills Strong hands-on experience with Symantec Net Backup in enterprise environments Working knowledge of IBM and Quantum tape library technologies Experience with scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, or similar automation tools Proven experience in the deployment, configuration, and administration of backup infrastructure and tape libraries Working knowledge of enterprise-class Fibre Channel switches and directors from Cisco, Brocade, and Mc Data Experience with Net App storage systems, particularly backup integration and configuration Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux environments, VERITAS Volume Manager, and file systems Project management experience with the ability to coordinate infrastructure deployments and upgrades Expertise in 2nd and 3rd level fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and issue resolution Experience working within financial services environments will be an added advantage
